On 14 October 2019, PT Mega Medica Pharmaceuticals holds a collaboration discussion with BINUS University and University of North Sumatera (USU). The discussion was held in the meeting room of Research Center in University of North Sumatra.
The team from USU will do research in PT Mega Medica Pharmaceuticals’ snakehead fish pond. Furthermore, USU team will collect samples of snakehead fish from some places in North Sumatra. BINUS will collaborate to create water quality control management based on IoT (Internet of Things). The results of this discussion also generate the idea of making a much more portable sensor that can measure the water quality in the river for wild snakehead fish.
After the discussion, some representatives from BINUS University and University of North Sumatra visit PT Mega Medica Pharmaceuticals’ snakehead fish pond in Perbaungan, North Sumatra. This farmed snakehead fish that uses biofloc and IoT sensor is the first of its kind in North Sumatra.
